Game Day Protocols are 1-2 page documents that detail the tasks and responsibilities of all teams participating in an NCJLA game or event. These sheets include information regarding: confirming officials, confirming team participation, weather-related logistics, home team responsibilities and host team responsibilities. These tasks or responsibilities must be completed in order for officials to officiate the game. Junior officials must have the name and onsite contact information for a responsible adult at the venue they will be working. Failure to provide a working phone number (cell preferred) for a junior official to contact in an emergency could result in your club not receiving officials for future games.
The NCJLA reviews and updates all age division game protocols annually before posting them to the website. Clubs will be sent laminated copies in early February for each team to have at the score table during games.
