Boys Director Update - Week 5
Easter weekend meant a slow lacrosse weekend for most of us, I think, leaving me with little to report on here. I did hear about one game in particular, Casa Grande vs Petaluma, that it was a "great back and forth game" with "great sportsmanship". Kudos to those programs for honoring the game.
Lacking any further news from around the league, let's take a look forward to May and our End-of-Season festivities on the Boys' side.
1. In the next few days we will be releasing the mid-season RPI seeding results for High School and 'A'-level programs. It is very important as we head toward the end of regular-season play that teams enter their scores as soon as possible following a game. As a reminder, it is the responsibility of the WINNING team to post scores, and of the HOME team if the winning team fails to do so within 24 hours. A document detailing the RPI calculation for High School and Youth 'A'-level teams is available here: http://files.leagueathletics.com/Text/Documents/6490/40060.pdf
2. I will be sending out an email later this week with an RSVP form for participation in our End-of-Season activities for the youth flighted tournaments and festivals. If you have a U15A, U15B, U13B, U13C, U11B, or U9 level team, start thinking about what, if any, post-season events you'd like to be part of. A list of events with dates is available here: http://leagueathletics.com/Page.asp?n=70600&org=ncjla.org
From last weekend we did have 1 SIR filed, but otherwise no lowlights to report. As always, please send me your highlights from this weekend!
